Blood donation opportunity Monday

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 1-6 p.m. Monday at Hope United Methodist Church, 12080 380th Ave. in Blue Earth. Extra sanitization will be in place. Please wear a face covering and practice good physical distancing. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org. Donors of all blood types are needed. Everyone is encouraged to donate blood to help keep up a strong blood supply during the winter months when inclement weather and seasonal illnesses can impact donor giving.

College News (Bold Reyce Freeman, bold cities)

Reyce Freeman of Fairmont was named to the President’s list for the 2020 fall semester at Minnesota State College Southeast with campuses in Red Wing and Winona.

The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the 2020 fall semester at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud: Blue Earth — Jessie Griffin; St. James — Ana San Miguel Esqueda.
