Regional Worship Center plans breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a community breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Monday at its facility at 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. They will not serve a buffet. The meal will be served as ordered. Donations accepted. Everyone is invited.

Youth for Christ golf tourney set for Aug. 3

The 19th annual Youth for Christ “Fore the Kids” Golf Classic will be held Aug. 3 at Interlaken Golf Club in Fairmont. The cost is $115 per golfer for 18 holes of golf, cart and dinner. A nine-hole option costs $70 for golf, cart and dinner. Check-in will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch available until 12:30 p.m. A golf clinic will be held at 12:30 p.m., with the shotgun start to the golf tournament at 1 p.m. The nine-hole start for golf will be at 3 p.m. After conclusion of the golf, a banquet dinner will be served and awards will be given out.
