Blood drives slated for next week

There will be two American Red Cross blood drives next week in the area. A blood drive will be held noon to 6 p.m. Monday at Hope United Methodist Church, 12080 380th Ave. in rural Blue Earth. A blood drive also will be held 12:30-6:30 p.m. Monday at the Truman Community Building, 313 N. First Ave. West, in Truman. Donors of all blood types are needed. Emma Hobson of Fairmont was named to the Chancellor’s list for the 2020 spring semester at the University of Minnesota-Crookston.

Katrina Stoltenberg of Jackson received a bachelor’s degree in industrial design and Sarah Jacobson of Trimont received a bachelor’s degree in art education following the 2020 spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wis.
