Club resumes trap shooting events

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will resume the 2020 merchandise trap shooting schedule. It will hold a trap shoot event noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the club, located a half-mile north of East Chain. Social distancing guidelines will be followed. They will shoot 25-yard bird practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks for merchandise cards. The grill will be on all day. Ruby’s Pantry planned in Sherburn

Ruby’s Pantry will be held Monday in Sherburn in the high school parking lot. Distribution will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. Volunteers posted at street corners will let people know where to go. Participants are required to open their trunks at the beginning, then drive through to each pallet. Workers will place food in trunks. Participants are asked not to bring containers. Organizers also ask that no one get out of their vehicle along the line. There will be a worker at the beginning of the line to collect the $20 for your share.
