Heritage Acres music festival cancelled

The board of Heritage Acres in Fairmont has made a decision to cancel the 2020 Fourth of July Music Festival because of limitations on gatherings of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization’s next events will be Threshing Day on Aug. 9, its annual meeting Aug. 27 and the Harvest Festival in October.

Tristan Taylor of Winnebago was named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Noah Becker of Fairmont and Tyler Tennyson of Truman, were named to the dean’s list for the 2020 spring semester at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
