License Center to reopen Monday
Martin County License Center will reopen Monday. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. The number of customers inside the office will be limited; sneeze guards have been installed to maintain social distancing; employees will wear masks and ask that customers wear masks when inside; frequent cleaning will be done throughout the day. The dropbox may still be utilized. Dropoff and curbside service are options. Mail-in and phone in transactions will be processed. At this time, the office is waiting for clarification from the state as to whether driver’s license and ID service will be available.
Hope Cafe to Go to offer meals
St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont will make a hot meal May 24 and deliver to homes in Fairmont around 5:30-6 p.m. The service is limited to the first 30 people. Those who would like a free meal delivered may call Bridget at St. John Vianney.
