Red Rock to offer Mother’s Day craft kits

Red Rock Center for the Arts will distribute 45 Mother’s Day craft kits through curbside pickup beginning 4 p.m. Thursday, until they are gone. Each kit will contain everything needed to make mom a gift. Red Rock asks that people share a picture of their completed projects on Red Rock Center for the Arts Facebook page. Kits are free of charge, but donations will be accepted.

Chamber golf outing postponed

Because of public health concerns regarding COVID-19, the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce golf outing scheduled for June 5 at Rose Lake Golf Club has been postponed until a later date. Pork Masters golf event planned in July

Martin County Pork Producers, and the Agri-Business and Ambassador Committees of the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 28th annual Minnesota State Pork Masters golf outing July 27 at Interlaken Golf Club in Fairmont. Lunch and dinner will be provided for all participants. Golf registration is limited to sponsors and pork producers only, as 260 golfers are expected to take part.
