Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Lynn Becker from LB Pork. He will provide information regarding their pork production business. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Lenten supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a Lenten supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of broccoli cheese soup, chicken and dumpling soup, egg salad and tuna salad sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

Aktion Club Theatre to hold meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St., in Fairmont. The public is invited to join any of the group’s theatrical practices. Those needing a ride or who have questions about the group may call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.

Knights to hold Friday fish dinner fundraiser

Fairmont Knights of Columbus will hold a fish dinner fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 920 E. 10th St., Fairmont. The dinner will include all-you-can-eat codfish, baby potatoes, pearl onions, coleslaw, French bread, bars, milk, juice and coffee. There is a suggested donation of $10. The public is invited.
