The public reading of Tolstoy’s “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” has been cancelled.
It was scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. The reading will be rescheduled for April.
Dance club to hold Sunday dance event
Arc Different Drummer Dance Club will have a dinner and dance from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Fairmont Holiday Inn. Please RSVP for the dinner and/or if attending the dance before noon Wednesday by contacting Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017. The public is invited to attend.
Library to host teen Read-A-Latte event
All teens are invited to join Amber for a Read-A-Latte event 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Graffiti Corner, 1500 S. State St. in Fairmont. Come enjoy free fro-yo and coffee and share what you’re reading, watching or listening to. With questions, please call the library at (507) 238-4207.
Watonwan Sheriff to offer safety class
Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office will sponsor a snowmobile safety class from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Watonwan Human Services Building, 715 2nd Ave. S., in St. James. Youth must be 11 years of age prior to the class start date to be eligible to take the class. Pre-registration is required before Saturday by calling the phone number or email address that follows.
