Libraries announce closings

All Martin County libraries will be closed Monday in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Worship Center plans Monday breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a pancakes, eggs and coffee breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Monday at the facility located at 2 Crossroads Dr. in Sherburn. Donations accepted. Everyone is invited.

Valley Quilters set Monday meeting

Blue Earth Valley Quilters will meet 7 p.m. Monday in the Blue Earth Area High School choir room. Enter through door “V” on the south side of the building. The program will feature Linda Bakken. Fairmont Community blood drive slated

American Red Cross will hold a Fairmont blood drive from 12:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Budd Room at the Fairmont Holiday Inn. For appointments, call (800) 733-2767 or go online at www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code FAIRMONTMN. Blood donors of all types are needed.
