3M employees, past and present, will meet for lunch noon Tuesday at Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont.

Library to host ‘Sweet Treats and Reads’

Children in grades 3-6 are invited to join library staff for “Sweet Treats and Reads” at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Martin County Library, Fairmont. They will have treats, book-related activities and discussions about new books. The event is free and no registration is required.

Legion Auxiliary sets Tuesday meeting

Fairmont American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. All members and anyone interested in the auxiliary are encouraged to attend.

Garden Club sets Wednesday meeting

City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont will meet 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Graffiti Corner, 1500 S. State St., in Fairmont. There will be a business meeting followed by a presentation on “Vertical Aeroponic Tower Gardening.” The purpose of the organization is to encourage all forms of horticulture in the home and community.
