Martin Luther postpones auction

Due to inclement weather, the antique auction scheduled for today at Martin Luther High School in Northrop has been postponed until noon Sunday.

Regional Worship Center plans breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a pancakes, eggs and coffee breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Monday at its facility located at 2 Crossroads Dr. in Sherburn. Donations accepted. Everyone is invited.

Blood donation opportunities scheduled

There will be two American Red Cross blood drive opportunities next week. A blood drive will be held noon to 6 p.m. Monday at Butterfield High School, 440 Hubbard Ave., Butterfield. Also, a blood drive will be held noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Winnebago Community Center, 140 Main St., in Winnebago. Donors of all blood types are urged to give blood. ‘A Matter of Balance’ class slated

CREST will present the class “A Matter of Balance” from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursdays beginning Jan. 23 and concluding March 12, at the Booz Apartments, 221 N. First Ave. West in Truman. The eight-session class is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults. Anyone with concerns about falling or wanting to improve their balance, flexibility and strength is invited to attend. Registration is required in order to provide the needed materials, and a $10 donation is suggested to help cover costs. Registration deadline is Tuesday.
