Class of 1953 to meet for lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1953 will meet 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont.

Lutheran church in Truman plans event

The 24th annual Holiday Cookie Walk will be held 8-10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 102 N. Seventh Ave. E., in Truman. Visitors can choose from a selection of cookies, caramels, candies, kringla, party mix, etc., then pay for the items per pound. Containers will be provided. They also will have goodies, along with coffee and cider, for a donation. Everyone is invited.

Library to host Operation Elf on Saturday

Martin County Library in Fairmont will host “Operation Elf” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. There will be a variety of elf stations and holiday activities for children. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call the library in Fairmont at (507) 238-4207.

Martin Luther to offer Christmas concert

The music department at Martin Luther High School will present a Christmas concert entitled “Et in Terra Pax” (And on Earth Peace) at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Fairmont Opera House. Admission is a donation. All are invited to attend.
