Chubb House to hold weekend dinner

The Chubb House will hold its annual “Pioneer Stew Lamplight Dinner” on Saturday at the Chubb House located at 209 Lake Ave. in Fairmont. The meal will consist of homemade beef stew, assorted breads, assorted dessert and coffee. The cost is $10 per person. Seatings are at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required by calling (507) 235-6572 or (507) 235-9162. The event is open to the public.

People First offers holiday fudge sales

Martin County People First is selling nine varieties of fudge in half-pound boxes until Nov. 20. They also have two flavors of sugar-free fudge available. The fudge will be available Dec. 13. To place an order, call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or contact a People First member.

Martin Luther to hold blood drive Monday

American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 12:30-5:30 p.m. Monday at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. To schedule an appointment, please call (800) 733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter MLHSMN. Everyone is encouraged to donate blood.

Library to host graphic novel book club

Children in grades 3-6 are invited to join library staff for “Let’s Get Graphic: A Graphic Novel Book Club” at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This event is free and no registration is required. For more information, call the library at (507) 238-4207.
