Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Sara Gudahl, teacher at Fairmont High School, who will provide an update on the upcoming fall musical “Bye Bye Birdie” in which she will direct. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church located at 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of scalloped potatoes and ham, green beans, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

Trunk-and-treat Thursday in Trimont

A trunk-and-treat event will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church, 61 Apple St. E. in Trimont. In case of cold weather, the event will be held inside the church. All are welcome.

Group to offer Halloween meals

Woodland Avenue Halloween ‘meal deal’ will be available for purchase beginning 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The meal, served by The Grandmas + One, will consist of a hotdog, bag of chips, cookie and water. Items will not be sold separately.

Class of 1953 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1953 will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont.

St. Paul’s of Welcome plans annual dinner

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome will be having its annual turkey dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at their church located at 214 N. Dugan St. in Welcome. They will serve roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, vegetables, cranberries, buns and assorted desserts. The cost is $8 for adults, $6 for children, ages 6-12, while kids, 5 and under are free. Take-outs will be available. Everyone is invited.
