Aktion Club Theatre to meet Thursday

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St., in Fairmont. Those needing a ride or who have questions about the group may call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.

Heritage Acres to meet Thursday

Heritage Acres will hold its final monthly meeting of the season Thursday at Heritage Acres in Fairmont. A light supper will be served 6 p.m. at the Heritage Acres Chapel, followed by a business meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information, contact Jerry Simon at (507) 236-1257.

Annual coat drive set for Saturday

The annual coat drive sponsored by the Faribault/Martin County Interagency Committee will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Five Lakes Centre in Fairmont. Gently-used winter wear, including coats, gloves, boots and hats will be available for anyone needing warm clothing. STEP, MRCI, REM, COR, Human Services, the schools, The Workforce Center, SMILES and Arc are members of the committee and can be contacted for more information or to drop off used winter wear.

Red Cross blood drive to be held

American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at Truman High School. Blood donors of all types are needed, especially those with type O and B blood.
