Retirement open house this Saturday

A retirement open house for Jerry Johnson will be held 1-6 p.m. Saturday at 541 Southport Drive in Fairmont. He has worked many years at Rosen’s Inc. Everyone is invited.

Regional Worship Center plans breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a pancakes, eggs and coffee breakfast from 7-9 a.m. Monday at its facility located at 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. Donations accepted. Everyone is invited.

College News

Tucker Schumann of Sherburn earned bachelor’s degrees in both accounting and business following the 2019 summer term at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Jadyn Anderson of St. James graduated and received an associate’s degree in liberal arts and sciences with high honors following the 2019 summer semester at Rochester Community and Technical College in Rochester.

The following area students graduated and earned degrees and honors from St. Olaf College in Northfield: Blue Earth — Miyako White, bachelor’s degree in nursing (magna cum laude); St. James — Thor Henderson, bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry (magna cum laude).
