Partners in Education plan meeting

Fairmont Partners in Education, formerly the Alumni Association, will hold its annual meeting 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the lounge area at the Ranch Restaurant in Fairmont. Goldfinch to hold rummage sale

Goldfinch Estates will be having a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon Friday by the garages at their facility located at 850 Goldfinch St., Fairmont. They will sell household items, books, jigsaw puzzles, etc. but no clothing. Proceeds from the sales will go to the Alzheimers Association. All are invited.

Library to host Prairie Ecology Bus

Join library staff on Thursday at the Martin County Library located at 110 N. Park St., Fairmont for a constellation program in the Prairie Ecology Bus Indoor Planetarium. The program will be held 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. This program is geared for adults and kids, ages six and up. Space is limited. There is no cost to attend and no need to register. Bake sale fundraiser next Saturday

Martin County Humane Society bake sale fundraiser will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Fleet & Farm Supply Ace Hardware Store, 1300 N. State St., Fairmont. Proceeds from the sale will help with expenses for the animals at the shelter in Fairmont. Everyone is welcome.
