First Congregational to host free meal

First Congregational United Church of Christ will host a free community meal 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday at their church located at 319 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. The meal consisting of hot chicken sandwiches, watermelon and more will be served by the church council. Everyone is welcome.

Fairmont Schools to hold student registration

Student registration for Fairmont Area Schools will be held 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 8, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 9, in the media center at Fairmont High School. All students in grades 7-12 must have a school photo taken during registration. Registration for all grades may be completed on-line through Skyward’s parent access.
