Ruby’s Pantry plans food distribution

Ruby’s Pantry, a community food outreach program, will hold a food distribution Monday at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. Registration begins at 5 p.m., with food distribution from 6-7:30 p.m. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by the $20 cash donation per participant for operational costs. Please bring two large boxes, totes or laundry baskets to put the food items in. ‘Fun with Food’ sessions to be held

Martin County Library will present “Fun with Food” to provide information about food and making healthy snacks. The event is presented by Hy-Vee of Fairmont. Sessions will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library in Fairmont and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sherburn Community Hall. There is no cost to attend and no need to register.
