Sportsman Club plans trap shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a trap shoot noon Sunday at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. They will shoot practice rounds and 16-25 yard Oakley’s and Boondocks. The grill will be on all day. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Everyone is welcome.

Valley Quilters set Monday meeting

Blue Earth Valley Quilters will meet 7 p.m. Monday in the Blue Earth Area High School choir room. Enter through door “V” on the south side of the building. The main program will feature a presentation by Evie Kabe, who will talk about quilt-as-you-go. Anyone interested in this quilting group may attend.
