Sherburn Library back in operation

After extensive damage from a burst pipe, the Sherburn Library is now open during its regular hours of 1:30-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Many thanks to patrons for their patience as work to get the library up and running at 100 percent was done.

Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Joe Burns, a supporter for the development and ongoing expansion of the Fairmont Trail System, including the portion named “Joe Burns Trail.” The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will have a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at their church, 119 E. 2nd St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of chili, hotdogs or chili dogs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.
