The public is invited to attend a book release party for “Your Story, My Story, Our Story,” a project of the community group Uniting Cultures/Uniendo Culturas at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Watonwan County Library in St. James. The publishing of the book was facilitated by a grant from the Minnesota Humanities Center, with funding from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, part of the Legacy Funds from the state of Minnesota. The book is a compilation of 39 narratives highlighting immigration stories recounted by 43 residents of the St. James area, representing 24 different countries of origin. All those attending the party will receive a complimentary copy of the book. For more information, contact Pat Branstad at pat.branstad@gmail.com
