Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Kids Just Want to Have Fun committee members Ed Willett, Betsy Tino and Laura Olson, who will speak about the miniature golf course planned for Fairmont. The public is invited to attend.

Class of 1961 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1961, spouses and friends, will for meet lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pizza Ranch, Fairmont.

City of Lakes Garden Club to meet

City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont will hold its next meeting 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of Jean Nimz in Fairmont. There will be a business meeting followed by a presentation on “Vegetables.” The purpose of the organization is to encourage all forms of horticulture in the home and community. If you’re interested in becoming a member or would like more information about the Garden Club, please call Myrtle Heifner at (507) 235-8535. New members are always welcome.

Trimont Chamber set to meet Wednesday

Trimont Chamber of Commerce will hold its next meeting 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trimont City Hall. The new Chamber secretary, Brenda Nielsen, will be welcomed at the meeting. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month. Any person, club or organization who has any news to put on the sign, please call Thomas Hage at (507) 848-4085 or email him at trimontchamber@hotmail.com. Please give a week to 10 days notice.
