Kiwanis to host pancake supper The Early Risers Kiwanis Club and Fairmont Band Boosters will host an all-you-can-eat Spring Pancake Supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 5, at the Five Lakes Centre mall in Fairmont. Pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice, milk and coffee will be served. Pre-sale tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. At the door, tickets are $8 for adults and $4.50 for children. Fairmont Safe Routes To School Fairmont Safe Routes to School (SRTS) will be on Tuesday mornings until May 20. SRTS provides four safe routes for children to get active by walking and biking to school one day a week during the fall and spring. Walkers and bikers are brought to their respective schools by crosswalk guards and adult volunteers along safe routes.
