Fairmont Summer Run The 46th Annual Fairmont Summer Run will be held at 8:30 a.m. for the five-mile, 9:30 a.m. for the two-mile, 10 a.m. for the quarter-mile and 10:05 a.m. for the half-mile on Saturday, July 26, at Fairmont High School. The event is coordinated by Fairmont CER and the Fairmont Area Runners. The races will be run on quiet streets and asphalt trails. All races will start and finish at the high school. Kiwanis to meet Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for their weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow.
