Fairmont Safe Routes To School Fairmont Safe Routes to School (SRTS) will begin Tuesday, April 14. SRTS provides four safe routes for children to get active by walking and biking to school one day a week during the fall and spring. Walkers and bikers are brought to their respective schools by crosswalk guards and adult volunteers along safe routes. CreativiTEA Party The CreativiTEA Party, by Fairmont Women of Today, will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 11, at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont. Activities will include butterfly, three-dimensional wooden flower and beaded arts and crafts, cookie decorating in partnership with Butter Babes of Minnesota, a photo booth in partnership with Prolific Memories, pinwheels, temporary tattoos, nail art and hair accessories. Kiwanis to meet Early Risers Kiwanis of Fairmont will gather for its weekly breakfast at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at The Ranch restaurant in Fairmont. A meeting at 6:50 a.m. will follow.
