FAIRMONT — Haley Scherr and Dan Sumey announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Tim and Beth Scherr of Trempealeau, Wis. and Steve and Deb Sumey of Fairmont.

Haley received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. She works as an interior designer for AECOM in Minneapolis, Minn.

Dan received a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Minnesota and and is working on his MBA at St. Cloud State. He works as a billing analyst in Minneapolis.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 3, 2024, in St. Paul, Minn.
