BUFFALO CENTER — Alyssa Knudson and Zachary Schleininger announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Eric and Trisha Knudson of Buffalo Center, Iowa, and Kevin and Jodi Schleininger of Granada.

Alyssa is employed at State Savings Bank in Rake, Iowa, while Zachary works for Landscaping Plus in Fairmont.

An Oct. 2 wedding is planned at United Methodist Church in Buffalo Center.
