SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Alice Anne Meinders was born on July 14, 2026, in Sioux Falls, S.D. She weighed eight pounds, six ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Parents are Mike and Stephanie Meinders of Lake Wilson. She is also welcomed at home by big brother, Levi Wayne Meinders. Grandparents are Ray Meinders of Clark, S.D. and Duane and Lisa Rosburg of Welcome. Great-grandmother is Norma Jean Schroeder of Fairmont.

Church on the Lawn Church on the Lawn services will be at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 26 at East Chain Evangelical Free Church. The speakers will be “Three Stories”. The service includes live band worship, Bible teaching and kids’ programs. Before the service, donuts and coffee will be served at 10 a.m. Bring a lawn chair and a friend. All are welcome. Annie Fairmont Opera House (FOH) Fairmont Area Community Theater (FACT) will perform its 2026 summer musical, “Annie,” at 1 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, and at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, Wednesday, July 29, Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31, at the Fairmont High School Performing Arts Center.
