Truman Days seeks help
TRUMAN — Friday is the last day to place your order for submarine sandwiches to support the after-prom fundraiser.
For ordering questions, contact Judi Davis at (507) 236-9791 or drop off your order and payment at Truman Public Utilities office.
Sandwiches should be picked up between 3-6 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Truman school cafeteria.
Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.
Come join Truman Pride at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. It doesn’t matter if you have a student in school or would like to help support the students and our school, Truman Pride would appreciate your help.
Wednesday is recycling day. Please place your recycling containers curbside by 7 a.m. with all cardboard placed inside.
Post 1905 with advisers Matt, Josh, Cody and Kaleana will meet 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Truman fire station. Any youth from the area between the ages of 14-21 years who are interested in learning about being on a volunteer fire department may attend. For more information, call Matt at (507) 217-3956.
Truman Days will be held this summer, but planning must begin soon. If you are interested in helping with preparations for the parade, please call Melody at (507) 848-0509.

2019 National Veterans Wheelchair Games will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, co-hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs and Paralyzed Veterans of America. A summer sports clinic, national veterans golden age games and the TEE tournament are just some of what’s going on this year for our veterans.
