CEYLON -- St. Peter Lutheran Church basement will be full of quilters making quilts for missions beginning 9 a.m. both Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone interested in quilting is encouraged to join them for this charitable and fun way to spend a day.
Some supplies are available or bring your own.
If anyone wants to stay for the afternoon session, please bring a sack lunch.

Ceylon Centennial Committee will meet 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Legends 2/Legion building, since a request for funds from the account has been made.
The committee, consisting of some of the people who worked on the 2000 Centennial, will discuss dispensation of some of the proceeds in the Centennial account. Members are urged to attend.

Ceylon Legion would like to encourage its members to attend the meeting at 7 p.m. Feb. 12. Sons of the Legion members should also attend. Discussions about encouraging more members to join and attend will be held. Any ideas and concerns are welcome.
