CLARIFICATION
An article in Wednesday’s Sentinel about the Fairmont City Council’s third budget workshop listed an inaccurate number for the proposed property tax rate impact. The amount listed, a 5.8 percent increase, was for 2026. The 2027 property tax rate impact has yet to be determined.
