BLUE EARTH CITY TOWNSHIP -- Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) and Faribault County Sheriff's Office responded to an incident involving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee and a 2017 Chrysler Town and Country at 10:03 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, at west Interstate 90, west Highway 169 in Blue Earth City Township in Faribault County. According to the MSP report, the Jeep Cherokee and the Chrysler Town and Country were both traveling westbound when they collided. The Jeep Cherokee's airbag deployed. The Jeep Cherokee's driver, Madison A. M. Hendricks, 26, of Fairmont, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, wore a seatbelt and was transported to United Hospital District in Blue Earth. The Chrysler Town and Country driver, Thomas T. Williams, 23, of Detroit, sustained non-life-threatening injuries, wore a seatbelt and was transported to United Hospital District in Blue Earth. The roads were described as dry. Alcohol did not contribute to the incident.
