EMERALD TOWNSHIP — Minnesota State Patrol, Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Earth Police Department, Blue Earth Fire Department and United Hospital District Ambulance responded to a roll-over incident involving a 2018 FRHT Freightliner at 6:05 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, on westbound Interstate 90, near milepost 125 in Emerald Township in Faribault County. According to the MSP report, the Freightliner was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 when it rolled over into the median. The driver, Juan Carlos Perez Gomez, 37, of Marshalltown, Iowa, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to United Hospital District in Blue Earth. Gomez wore a seatbelt. The roads were described as wet. Alcohol did not contribute to the incident.
