ABOVE: FAIRMONT -- Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont, Hy-Vee and Fairmont High School (FHS) recognize the following FHS students as April 2026 Students of the Month. Students and families recently gathered in the FHS Performing Arts Center to participate in this recognition and receive a certificate and gift card. The grade 7 to 12 students include Gaspar Ciprian Juarez, Max Coan, Evelin Garcia Lopez, Michael Gries, Jalin Jackson, Cadleigh Jobe, Delaney Klug, Oscar Magallanes Lopez, Calixta Tessendorf, Jordan Thompson, Ellisyn Wurster and Lauren Zarling.

ABOVE: FAIRMONT/OSHKOSH, Wis. -- American Legion Lee C Prentice Post 36 Scholarship Chairman Bob Altman awards a $1,000 scholarship to his grandson, Avery Mosloski, of Oshkosh, Wis.
Post 36 has awarded $36,000 in scholarships for 2026 high school seniors.
