ABOVE: Fairmont City Band rehearses ahead of its first concert of the summer, which was held on Tuesday, June 9, at the Sylvania Park Bandshell in Fairmont. In addition, Fairmont City Band and the community are celebrating 100 years of performing at the Sylvania Park Bandshell. The first concert at the location was on June 10, 1926. The next Fairmont City Band concerts will be from 8 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 16, June 23, June 30, Saturday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 7, at Sylvania Park Bandshell.
