ABOVE: Fairmont Elementary School (FES) students Dakota Abel and Julia Fordice create their three-dimensional giant candy bars project, painting the Snickers logo on wrapper-shaped construction paper with royal blue acrylic paint, during the After-School Art Club program on Tuesday afternoon, in the FES art classroom. The students will then stuff the construction paper to give the ‘giant candy bar’ dimension. The program is taught by FES Art Teacher Ashley Jensen and offered through Fairmont Community Education and Recreation (CER). Through CER, Jensen will offer more art programs in the summer.
