ABOVE: A Fairmont High School (FHS) choir group sings “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton during the FHS Grade 7 to 12 May Choir Concert on Monday evening at the FHS Performing Arts Center. The theme of the concert was Y2K (year 2000) and choir members dressed in at-the-time trending outfits. The selections performed were recorded from 1995 to 2008, including “Hey There, Delilah” by Plain White Ts, “Pocketful of Sunshine” by Natasha Bedingfield, “Bye, Bye, Bye” by NSYNC and more, before seniors closed the performance with their renditions of “I’ll Be There for You” by the Rembrandts and “Hey Jude” by The Beatles.
