SENIOR DINING
IN FAIRMONT
Meals are served at Friendship Village at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Milk is served each day. The menu is subject to change.
To reserve your meal, call (507) 238-1650 between 9 a.m. and noon the day before.
This project is partially funded through a grant from Region 9 Area Agency on Aging under Title III-C of the Older Americans Act and is sponsored by Lutheran Social Services.
FAIRMONT
Monday — Country-fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, honey-battered carrots, dinner roll, applesauce, orange blossom dessert, milk. Alternate: Catch of the Day.
Tuesday — Summer citrus chicken, seasoned orzo, country-trio vegetables, bread, butter, peaches, lemon lime cake, milk. Alternate: Goulash.
Wednesday — Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, bread, butter, Mandarin oranges, blueberry crisp, milk. Alternate: Turkey hotdish.
Thursday — Meatloaf, potato casserole, vegetable blend, bread, butter, fruit cocktail, pudding sundae, milk. Alternate: Stuffed chicken breast.
Friday — Catch of the Day, fried potatoes, sliced beets, bread, butter, pears, brownie, milk. Alternate: Salisbury steak.
LSS MEALS ON WHEELS (in partnership with Heartland Senior Living in Truman)
Meals on Wheels in Truman helps older adults maintain good health and remain living at home, by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday, as well as a friendly visit and safety check for Minnesotans age 60 and older. Note: The menu is subject to change due to supplier issues. To sign up for the program or for further information, call Holly at (507) 776-2031.

IN BLUE EARTH
Meals are served at Blue Earth Senior Center from noon Monday through Friday. Milk and bread are served each day. The menu is subject to change. Meals are catered by St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. The cost is $4 to eat in and $6.50 to take out.

Monday — Spaghetti bake, lettuce salad, Italian ice, breadstick, bread, milk.
Tuesday — Glazed ham balls, creamed potatoes, green and gold beans, coconut cream pie, bread, milk.

ON WHEELS
Hot Meals on Wheels is available Monday through Saturday for convalescents and persons who cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals. This is a community project and is non-profit and not government-funded.
