Chevrolet-Honda incident Friday morning in BE
BLUE EARTH — Minnesota State Patrol, Blue Earth Police, Faribault County Sheriff’s Office, Blue Earth Ambulance and Blue Earth Fire responded to an incident involving a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2020 Honda HRV at 8:39 a.m. on Friday, April 17, at Highway 169 and East 3rd Street in Blue Earth. The Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound on East 3rd Street and the Honda HRV was traveling northbound on Highway 169 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. The Chevrolet Silverado driver, Patrick T. Conroy, 75, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, was not injured. The Honda HRV driver, Mary L. J. Cerda, 73, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Blue Earth Hospital. Both parties wore their seatbelts. The Honda HRV’s airbag deployed. The roads were described as dry.
