Fairmont High School (FHS) junior Jadyn Montgomery completes a heart screening by Screening America screeners Roxie Pederson and Phyllis Yeager on Monday morning in the southern gymnasium at FHS. The heart screenings were for individuals ages 11 to 34 in the Fairmont School District. Overall, 34 individuals completed a heart screening. Each heart screening included a limited echocardiogram (heart ultrasound), 12 Lead EKG, bilateral blood pressure, health history evaluation, Marfan syndrome evaluation and board-certified cardiologist review. The heart screenings were made possible by the Karson Kent Janssen Memorial Fund.
