FAIRMONT — The Martin County Historical Society was granted the Community Champion award by the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce at their annual meeting in recognition of outstanding contributions to both business and community engagement. FAIRMONT — Fairmont High School (FHS) welding students competed in a regional welding tournament on Saturday, March 14, in the Twin Cities. Ethan Siebring earned Top Honors in GMAW (MIG) Welding. Seth Siebring placed Runner-Up in SMAW (Stick) Welding.
