Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at the Truman Fire Hall. These meetings are open to the public.

Second Harvest Heartland, nutrition assistance program for seniors, will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Come to Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman to pick up your box. Eligibility is based on age, 60 years and up, household size in income. Preregister at 1-800-365-0270.

The advisory board meets three times a year to brainstorm ideas which enhance our community education program in the Truman community. Please consider getting involved.

Truman city-wide clean up for residents of the City of Truman ONLY will be held Sept. 24 at Prairieland. Times are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until the dumpsters are full. There will be a representative on-site to monitor this event. NO hazardous waste products will be collected. NO electronics, appliances, chemicals, or tires.
