FAIRMONT

MONDAY — Autumn-glazed chicken, maple-glazed squash, peas, bread and butter, cheesecake, mandarin oranges, milk. Alternate: Open-face pork sandwich.

TUESDAY — Roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, apple cranberry stuffing, parsley carrots, cookies and cream brownie, fruit cup, milk. Alternate: Taco salad.

WEDNESDAY — Cheesesteak tater casserole, beets, fresh baked bread, ice cream, peaches, milk. Alternate: Turkey Florentine.

THURSDAY — Ham balls, scalloped potatoes, green beans, bread and butter, pineapple-upside-down cobbler, applesauce, milk. Alternate: Spaghetti and meatballs.

FRIDAY — Catch of the Day, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, strawberry dessert, pears, milk. Alternate: Chicken tenders.

LSS MEALS ON WHEELS (in partnership with Heartland Senior Living in Truman)

Meals on Wheels in Truman helps older adults maintain good health and remain living at home, by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday as well as a friendly visit and safety check for Minnesotans age 60 and older. Meals are served at Blue Earth Senior Center noon Monday through Friday. Milk served each day. Menu is subject to change. Meals are catered by St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Cost is $3.

MONDAY — Roast beef, creamed potatoes, carrots, apricots, milk.

TUESDAY — Italian chicken, rice pilaf, green beans with bacon pieces, lemon mousse, milk.

Hot Meals on Wheels are available Monday through Saturday for convalescents and persons who cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals. This is a community project and is non-profit and not government funded.
