LSS MEALS ON WHEELS (in partnership with Heartland Senior Living in Truman)
Meals on Wheels in Truman helps older adults maintain good health and remain living at home, by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday as well as a friendly visit and safety check for Minnesotans age 60 and older. NOTE: Menu is subject to change due to supplier issues. To sign up for the program or for further information, call Holly at (507) 776-2031.
MONDAY — Beef pot pie over a cheddar onion biscuit, mixed vegetables, bread and butter, mint cheesecake brownie, pears, milk.
TUESDAY — Orange glazed chicken, vegetable fried rice, oriental vegetable blend, egg roll, pumpkin blondie, mixed fruit, milk.
WEDNESDAY — Swiss steak with tomatoes, mashed potatoes, corn, bread and butter, spice cake with brown butter frosting, milk.
THURSDAY — Pork chop, roasted potatoes, carrots and onions, bread and butter, salted caramel pudding, fresh melon cup, milk.
FRIDAY — Catch of the day, baked potato with butter and sour cream, broccoli ranch salad, bread and butter, cookie dessert, mandarin oranges, milk.

IN BLUE EARTH
Meals are served at Blue Earth Senior Center noon Monday through Friday. Milk served each day. Menu is subject to change. Meals are catered by St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Cost is $3.

TUESDAY — Creamed chicken over biscuits, baby carrots, strawberry gelatin dessert, milk.
WEDNESDAY — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and butter, corn-on-the-cob, peach cobbler, milk.
THURSDAY — Potato bar, broccoli with cheese sauce, ice cream, milk.
FRIDAY — Salmon patties (beef), parsley potatoes, garden blend vegetables, cake, milk.

ON WHEELS
Hot Meals on Wheels are available Monday through Saturday for convalescents and persons who cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals. This is a community project and is non-profit and not government funded.
