LSS MEALS ON WHEELS (in partnership with Heartland Senior Living in Truman)
Meals on Wheels in Truman helps older adults maintain good health and remain living at home, by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday as well as a friendly visit and safety check for Minnesotans age 60 and older. NOTE: Menu is subject to change due to supplier issues. To sign up for the program or for further information, call Holly at (507) 776-2031.
MONDAY — Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, cheesy corn, bread and butter, strawberry cheesecake, mandarin oranges, milk.
TUESDAY — Italian cannelloni with blushed sauce, Riviera vegetables, garlic toast, chocolate toffee dessert, diced peaches, milk.
WEDNESDAY — Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts and squash, bread and butter, autumn gelatin parfait, mixed fruit, milk.
THURSDAY — Seasoned pork loin, macaroni and cheese, parsley carrots, bread and butter, caramel apple bar, mixed berries, milk.
FRIDAY — Catch of the day, wild rice, broccoli, bread and butter, blueberry upside-down cake, fresh melon cup, milk.
SENIOR DINING
IN BLUE EARTH
Meals are served at Blue Earth Senior Center noon Monday through Friday. Milk served each day. Menu is subject to change. Meals are catered by St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Cost is $3.

MONDAY — Chili (chicken spaetzel), lettuce salad with dressing, cornbread with butter, pears, milk.
TUESDAY — Chicken chow mein, rice, corn, egg roll, cherry cobbler, milk.
WEDNESDAY — Hamburger on a bun, tater triangles, baked beans, pound cake with lemon topping, milk.
THURSDAY — Chicken breast supreme, mashed potatoes with butter, honey-glazed carrots, ice cream, milk.
FRIDAY — Fish (meatballs), ranch potato bake, capri blend vegetables, molded cinnamon applesauce, milk.

ON WHEELS
Hot Meals on Wheels are available Monday through Saturday for convalescents and persons who cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals. This is a community project and is non-profit and not government funded.
