Blood drive Wednesday in Blue Earth

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 235 E. 7th St. in Blue Earth. Extra sanitization will be in place. Please wear a face covering and practice good physical distancing. To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org. Donors of all blood types are needed. Everyone is encouraged to donate blood to keep up with the demands.

First Congregational plans free meal

First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fairmont will offer a free community meal sponsored by the church missions board beginning 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at their church located at 319 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. They will serve the meal consisting of Thanksgiving hotdish, muffins, mixed fruit and water. This will be a drive through pick up meal in the alley behind the church. Social distancing will be observed. All are welcome.
