LSS MEALS ON WHEELS (in partnership with Heartland Senior Living in Truman)
Meals on Wheels in Truman helps older adults maintain good health and remain living at home, by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday as well as a friendly visit and safety check for Minnesotans age 60 and older. MONDAY — Salisbury steak deluxe, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, bread and butter, rhubarb upside-down cake, mandarin oranges, milk.
TUESDAY — Turkey pot pie over biscuits, mashed potatoes, carrots, glazed cherry orchard bar, chilled peaches, milk.
WEDNESDAY — Roast pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, chopped broccoli, bread and butter, ice cream cup, cantaloupe cuts, milk.
THURSDAY — Grilled chicken breast, baked russet potato with butter and sour cream, winter blend vegetables, bread and butter, snickerdoodle pumpkin cake, diced pears, milk.
FRIDAY — Catch of the day, chef’s featured potato, spring peas, bread and butter, scotcharoos, watermelon wedges, milk.

IN BLUE EARTH
Meals are served at Blue Earth Senior Center noon Monday through Friday. Milk served each day. Menu is subject to change. Meals are catered by St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Cost is $3.

TUESDAY — Chili, cornbread with butter, lettuce salad with dressing, pretzel dessert, milk.
WEDNESDAY — Ham potato casserole, broccoli, apple crisp, milk.
THURSDAY — Spaghetti, breadstick, fruited gelatin, ice cream, milk.
FRIDAY — French dip, French fries, coleslaw, bars, milk.

ON WHEELS
Hot Meals on Wheels are available Monday through Saturday for convalescents and persons who cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals. This is a community project and is non-profit and not government funded.
