Cardinals fall to Saints in regular season finale
ST PETER – The Fairmont High School football team fell to St. Peter on Wednesday night, 21-8, to finish its regular season with a 4-4 record. Despite the two-score loss, the Cardinals were outgained by just 17 yards, 205 to 188. The Saints were on top 21-0 with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter before the Fairmont offense was able to draw up some late-game production.
